Equipped with stunning features yet conceived to blend with the surroundings, the latest project from demonstrates how a residence can be both a luxurious retreat and an elegant getaway. The architect has intricately handled every component of the design process from conception to execution, making the residence truly timeless.
The muted organic elements grab attention, while the astonishing design features gently direct the eyeballs to the setting. Located in the prime location of Vadodara, Gujarat, the home stays authentic to the native surroundings using woody tones and subdued palettes.
The principal designer rooted the aesthetics as quite a retreat while managing a sophisticated edge to create its own unique identity. Staying cohesive with the surroundings, the architect has used elements to harmonize with the neighboring bungalows.
Organic forms and shapes and earthy tones further add a delightful naturalness. The home presents a picturesque view amid an 11,000 sq.ft lush, carefully manicured and landscaped lawn.
The interior approach is focused on keeping the common areas connected to offer flexible spatial configurations so that the rooms can operate independently or together to suit the occasion.
Tastefully done walls offer an exotic, earthy tone to the living room in grey and white walls. Victorian-style mouldings add elegant details. The furniture is mostly leather, exuding a cool and sophisticated vibe. The center table appeals to the eye, and the accent piece delivers quite a statement. With a wooden touch, the ceiling has been kept a little muted, but with a highlight chandelier with surface lights to give the space a party vibe. The living room is designed to host bigger gatherings.
Having involved ourselves with the project from the beginning, we have dressed up the floors, walls and ceiling to emphasize the woodwork and the artistic flair of the interiors, as well as take care of the styling needs based on the family's choices. One enters the living area through the entrance foyer, separated by a long passage. The ground floor also accommodates a bedroom with a dressing and the attached toilet. The informal living room is steeped in shades of gray, exhibiting a chic neutral vibe. A towering TV unit forms a gorgeous background. The neutral atmosphere bristles with a raw edge. As a result, the eye is guided towards the verdant views of the house.
The dining room makes a dramatic statement with a table that features a pattern of the sculptural water-flowing countertop. The towering shelving units with a framed view of a wooden partition become the highlight of the same. Apart from the play of fine quality stones, wood, textiles, and leather, what shines through are the unexpected and striking décor elements.
